With many economists agreeing that leading indicators are pointing to trouble ahead, and the 2 largest economies in the world facing a range of risks, investors could be forgiven for looking at some lower risk assets in this market. What can be defined as ‘low-risk’ can be quite varied, and is somewhat dependent on an investor's individual goals and risk tolerance. Following our recent Collections, we asked our contributors where risk-averse investors might find safety in the current environment. Answers come from Jonathan Rochford at Narrow Road Capital, Sam Ferraro from Evidente, Vimal Gor from BT Investment Management, Chris Watling from Longview Economics and Shane Oliver from AMP Capital.
