About Barry
Bio

Barry is the lead portfolio manager and has 20 years of experience as a global equity portfolio manager and over 35 years’ experience as an investment professional. Barry was previously Partner, Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at Artisan Partners where he set up, managed and was sole decision maker on their Global Equity strategy and opened their London office. Prior to this, Barry was a Managing Director and Portfolio Manager at MFS Investment Management with approximately US$6 billion under his management. He opened their Tokyo office and also worked in London and Boston. Barry had a strong track record of consistent outperformance during his 20 years as Portfolio Manager of Funds. Prior to this, he had various investment analyst roles in London and Tokyo and started his career at Arthur Andersen as a Chartered Accountant in London. Barry is a Chartered Accountant, has a BSc degree in economics from City University, London and studied Japanese language at Keio University, Tokyo.
