National Storage (NSR) is a high yielding, high growth real estate investment trust. NSR is a self-storage asset owner and manager that provides a forecast distribution yield of 7.3% for 2015. Through a combination of increased occupancy and acquisitions NSR should grow its dividends at least 5% per annum. NSR currently owns or manages ~60 storage facilities across Australia, and with a current market of nearly 1,000 storage centres, the opportunity for acquisition based growth is material. If NSR can even part way emulate the success of offshore peers (Public Space Storage in the USA, Big Yellow Group in the UK) it will enjoy share price appreciation well in excess of the majority of Australian based real estate companies.
