Aussie market started slightly positive and then gave up the optimism as we saw in the US market on Friday. US reporting starts tonight with Alcoa while AWC trading showed today that the negative sentiment is strong. AUDUSD seems to be running out of puff with weak US reporting season likely to push it lower as risk comes off. China data was solid without being overly strong, but there is question being raised about the hidden growth in credit in the system. The move by US market to give up early gains with big bounce in Oil shows that we are likely to see profit taking going into the reporting season. The big move in Oil looks to be more technical as short term down trend was broken, but deal hopes are far-fetched when we are talking about Saudi Arabia and Iran. Time to be patient and pick the time to buy-in or add more exposure…maintain medium to long term view > long Yield and Gold, short Iron Ore and Oil!!! (VIEW LINK)
