Village Roadshow is the owner of a number of theme parks and cinemas as well as an off balance sheet production business. Evans is attracted to the stock because of its conservative nature and excellent cash generation. Over the coming years Evans expects some assets within Village Roadshow to be brought to market via an IPO. He also anticipates the family that owns a controlling stake to seek an exit and sell out. Based on peer comparisons, Evans believes, there is no reason that you couldn't see a share price valuation in the $10 - $12 range. For a $1.2 billion company it is hard to find that kind of leverage and for us it is a stock you really can't beat.
