With so many major global economic events unfolding lately, Matt Sherwood, Head of Investment Market Research, provides his view on the immediate impact on investors and how portfolios should be positioning for the economic climate ahead. Sherwood looks at the recent US corporate reporting season and highlights the relative strength of the US economy compared to Europe and Japan. He says that equities remains fair value whilst bonds are looking relatively expensive with returns likely to be no more than the current yields.
