Investing in a $270billion market
Australian banks account for up to 90% participation rate in the commercial real estate debt market. The recent Royal Commission has helped put a spotlight on this, with regulators aiming to reduce their exposure to property as an asset class. For every 1% of market share that the banks give up, it opens up $2.7 billion of funding opportunities that are required in the Australian market space. The Qualitas Real Estate Income Fund (ASX:QRI) will look to fill this gap by aiming to provide Unitholders with a regular and predictable monthly income. They will achieve this by investing in a portfolio of investments that offers direct and indirect exposure to real estate loans secured by first and second mortgages, predominantly located in Australia. The offer is now open to investors. Click here for more information.
