Three wires that caught my eye this week

Each week we get around 100 wires on Livewire, I’ve picked three that stood out to me from this week. 1) Chad Slater shared his second post (VIEW LINK) in his series of ‘anti forecasts’. Chad highlights the economic recovery taking place in peripheral European countries (Spain/Italy). This positive news gets very little air-time, but the recovery seems to be taking hold (chart). 2) Seeing the Australian economy rebalance has been fascinating. Recent commentary from Glenn Stevens suggested even he is viewing the outlook with the glass half full. This piece from NAOS (VIEW LINK) looks at the strength in the tourism industry and companies that could benefit from the trend. 3) Mark Tobin worked as an analyst with Wilson Asset Management and is now based in Singapore. He pops onto Livewire every now and again with his nanocap stock ideas. If you look over his profile (VIEW LINK) you will see he has had a pretty good run and has just posted his latest idea: (VIEW LINK) . Thanks for reading Livewire and have a great weekend! James
