We have some exciting news to share...
It's been nine years since we launched the very first version of the Livewire website. We were green, made lots of mistakes and spent a lot of time figuring out the lay of the investing land in Australia. It’s fair to say the Livewire offering has come a long way since then.
Fortunately, along our journey, we've had incredible access to Australia's leading professional investors who have shared their insights and analysis with investors like you on Livewire’s platform. Of course, this wouldn't have happened without the Livewire team's hard work and our loyal readers' support. Nine years ago, I could never have imagined we'd be helping hundreds of thousands of investors each month.
Along this journey, we've never lost sight of the need to keep innovating and delivering our users a great experience. We care deeply about our readers (it’s borderline a problem) and today, I have some exciting news about a step change for Livewire.
Drum roll please…
Livewire Markets and Market Index are joining forces
Today marks an exciting day for the Livewire Markets team. I'm thrilled to announce that Livewire and Market Index are joining forces (Livewire has acquired the Market Index business) to become Australia's #1 dedicated investment information source. Together we’ll reach an audience of more than 700,000 investors each month, and millions more through our syndication partnerships.
We've admired Market Index for a long time. In my opinion, it's the #1 provider of free investing data in Australia. It's a big call, I know, but I'm backing it 100%. And I’m certain you'll love it too.
Over the past year, we've had the opportunity to meet with Matthew Gabriele, founder of Market Index, and learn about his passion for making investment information easy to understand and free to access for all Australians.
What has become clear is that Livewire and Market Index have shared values and a burning desire to build something that makes a difference for investors. The mix of Livewire's expert-sourced content and Market Index data and information will provide investors with something truly unique and valuable.
I'm incredibly excited about this significant development at Livewire and can't wait to start working on the next phase of this journey. It feels like we're just getting started, and in some ways, we are.
A massive thanks to all our readers for your support over the years. We appreciate every single one of you.
