Why the office is not dead

When office spaces shut down globally in March, investors were quick to sell off office leasing spaces. But nine months down the track, the city is becoming slightly more populated, the trains are busier and foot traffic is up. So is the office back in vogue or will the working from home trend prevail?

There are two sides to every coin argues APN Property Group's Mark Mazzarella who says that investors should account for less office space being used in the long term, but not rule it out altogether.

“The office is by no means dead… you can’t schedule spontaneity.”

In this video, Mark shares why he thinks the share market’s volatility came from a large misunderstanding, details global opportunities in the office leasing sector and gives his reasoning as to why the office will always be necessary.
