Established in 2004, Regal Funds Management is one of Australia’s most successful alternative investment managers. Until now, access to Regal’s unique capabilities has been limited to unlisted funds and primarily wholesale investors only. The IPO of the Regal Investment Fund (ASX:RF1) offers a way for all investors to access a combination of Regal’s award award-winning investment strategies via an ASX listed investment trust.

Philip King, Regal’s Chief Investment Officer, said the firm wants to provide the leading alternative investment vehicle on the ASX.

“A lot of Australian’s are overexposed to properties and equities, and they need diversification in their portfolio.”

The Fund, which has a ‘Recommended’ rating from Zenith and a “Recommended Plus” rating from Independent Investment Research, aims to deliver attractive risk adjusted absolute returns with limited correlation to equity markets, over more than five years.
