Bernanke: Rate cut will be both anticlimactic and good news

Ben Bernanke, speaking at a private sector forum in Seoul, says the expected US rate hike will be "anticlimactic" and something to cheer about when it happens. "I don’t know when (the rate hike will come), but when that begins, that’s good news, not bad news because it means the U.S. economy is strong enough." Bernanke added he was “optimistic” that China would not experience a hard landing and Japan is on track to experience improved growth. (VIEW LINK)
