Better than Westfield
It may surprise you, but the assets within Asia’s listed property trust are as good, if not higher, quality than those found within Australian REITS, says Corrine Ng from APN Property Group. - For example, Vivo City, a true ‘destination’ shopping centre in Singapore, owned by Mapletree Commercial Trust is comparable to Westfield Sydney. Both have sales of around $1 billion per year.
- The Hong Kong office market is a strong theme to get exposure to. Rents are high, and going higher.
