Daily AGM Note, Friday 25 November 2016
The Executive Remuneration Reporter
Aside from Primary Health Care, today's note features smaller AGMs. First strikes at Australian Dairy Farms Group, Fleetwood Corporation, East Energy Resources and Quantum Energy and close at Carnarvon Petroleum. Not for the first time this season, I take a look at the show of hands or poll debate, using some examples of voting on the ASX Listing Rule 7.1A resolution for an additional 10% placement capacity. ASX Listing Rule 7.1A is a special resolution, requiring at least 75% of the votes at the meeting to be for the resolution. It aims to facilitate capital raising by smaller ASX entities (only available to entities outside the ASX 300) and is always worth paying attention to...if for no other reason than the detailed disclosures on recent past capital raisings and uses to which that capital was put. You'll find today's note at this link (VIEW LINK) It is updated through the day as results are released.
