From junior explorer to building a gold producing company in West Africa: Richard Hyde, Founder, CEO & Executive Chairman of West African Resources
This is an awesome story of a geologist who did the hard yards to learn his trade and continue to build his knowledge the best he could, who then backed himself in and applied those skills to exploration in Burkina Faso. He then went on to take the company he formed in 2006 from a junior to a gold producer that is now targeting production of some 400,000 ounces a year and that carries a market capitalisation now in excess of $1 billion dollars.
This podcast also shines a light on the Western Australian mining industry as centre for excellence on the world stage.
