Kairos Minerals – Drilling for Gold

Kairos Minerals has recently commenced a 6,500m aircore drilling programme at its Roe Hills Gold/Nickel Project, following up on very promising results from an initial reconnaissance programme that intersected broad zones of near surface gold mineralisation. Roe Hills is located over the under-explored southern portion of the Kurnalpi Greenstone Terrane of the Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia, with the tenements covering similar geology to that hosting Breaker Resources’ Lake Roe discovery, some 40km to the north. The area also covers major structures that are key controls to mineralisation for the region, including Lake Roe and Saracen Mineral Holdings 7.86Moz Carosue Dam operation. In addition to gold, several cobalt prospects have also been identified at Roe Hills. The Company also holds the Mount York Project, located over the historic Lynas Find deposit south of Port Hedland in the Pilbara, and which is prospective for both gold and lithium. Work by Kairos has identified a 258,000oz gold resource at Mount York, with mineralisation open along strike and at depth This also close to Pilbara and Altura's Pilgangoora lithium projects.
