No heroes pre Euro Central Bank press conference Yesterday we got a reminder of the wild ride that is trading the Euro. Getting caught on the wrong side of those moves in short term trades would have been great for some and horrible for most. Those huge swings happened in the space of minutes, only to end up trading back to where it was in the first place. A good day for the brokers again! We didn't trade yesterday, but we are still short the Euro, which is our largest position and I don't want to feel that sort of volatility in our portfolio. So we are trimming exposure across our entire portfolio today on the back of our huge gains for the month as I wait for tonight's next episode of the ECB press conference to be led by Mario Draghi. His speech is in regards to the future of European monetary policy and whether they do finally start buying European government bonds to stimulate growth (still not convinced it actually would though!)
