Sell Side View: we ask Morgans analyst, Josephine Little, her sector weightings for a capital appreciation portfolio with a 12 month horizon. Josephine says; My personal view is that global growth is going to be around 2.5% and inflation around 1-1.5% so I can't see pressure for rate rises. On that basis I would be remaining overweight financials, utilities/infrastructure and selected REITs and underweight resources and any industrial name related to resources. In other words, yield will still be king over the next 12 months and earnings growth from domestic demand names will be meagre. In this vein, we continue to promote companies such as Wesfarmers (WES) and specialist REITs like Generation Healthcare (GHC).
