The ABS National Accounts detailed Finance & Wealth data for Q3 2014 showed household net worth increasing to a record $7,718bn, up from $1,733bn at September 1994, an average quarterly growth rate over the long term of 1.9%. During Q3 household net worth increased by $122bn - largely driven by holding gains in land & dwellings ($77bn) and financial assets ($15bn).
