The bargains are right in front of your eyes
Australian equities are cheap, at least relative to the rest of the world. That's what Goldman Sachs think (see afr.com) and, having just returned from an investing tour of world, I agree with them. There are bargains aplenty on the Aussie market and I'm more excited than I have been in a long time about the prospects for our Australian Shares Fund. Not surprisingly, no one wants to hear about it. Our inflows are 3 to 1 in favour of the International Shares Fund at the moment, and Australian fund managers are launching international funds left right and centre. As investors charge headlong into offshore markets, it might be worth taking a look at what's right in front of your eyes. (VIEW LINK)
