Thundelarra – Garden Gully Blooms
Independent Investment Research
Exploration work at their Garden Gully Project, located just 20km from Meekatharra and in an area hosting a number of gold operations, continues to return exciting results for Thundelarra. This work, including three drilling programmes to date, has defined a number of quality gold prospects (and returned intersections of up to 7m @ 24.5g/t Au and 80m @ 1.9g/t Au), however has also highlighted the prospectivity for the Project to host other styles of mineralisation, including VMS as seen elsewhere in the Yilgarn Craton. The geology and structure also shows similarities to that hosting deposits such as Gold Road’s Gruyere deposit and Gascoyne Resources’ Gilbeys deposit. Exploration is at an early stage in this area that has only seen limited previous work, and given the results to date there is good potential for Garden Gully to host a major deposit.
