Todd Sampson backed VAMP launches IPO
VAMP, the social-technology start-up backed by Qantas, Fairfax and Leo Burnett director Todd Sampson is planning to list on the ASX, with applications now open. VAMP connects high-profile brands with “influencers” on social media sites like Instagram, allowing them to communicate with highly engaged audiences. Sampson says "I love the changes that are happening in the digital space, it's knocking structures down, and I want to be a part of that. I will certainly be a shareholder. If you believe in something, it's important to be a part of it.” VAMPs Co-Founder Ben McGrath says that the company is seeking a fresh injection of funds to go after a global opportunity, with a focus on Asia. “There is a multi-billion dollar opportunity emerging, and we are in a fantastic place to capture that. We would like to own the south-east Asian market." Click below to read the prospectus. (VIEW LINK)
