Where to go when the going gets tough
With many economists agreeing that leading indicators are pointing to trouble ahead, and the 2 largest economies in the world facing a range of risks, investors could be forgiven for looking at some lower risk assets in this market. What can be defined as ‘low-risk’ can be quite varied, and is somewhat dependent on an investor's individual goals and risk tolerance. The good news is; investments don’t need to be exclusive. Diversification has often been described as the only free lunch in investing, so there’s no need to restrict yourself to just one option.
